Undoubtedly one of the most beautiful works of animation on Netflix right now, what Your Lie in April delivers visually is only matched by what it delivers emotionally. The relationship between Kirito and Asuna, which evolves from a partnership between two teenagers trying to survive to a mature, supportive romance between two people who had to quickly grow up in a traumatic situation, is so well-done that you’ll be rooting for them more than you would Romeo and whatshername.
